This Remsenburg estate project represents one of our most comprehensive outdoor transformations to date. The homeowners came to us with a large, underutilized backyard and a vision for a true resort-style retreat — a space that would serve as both a private sanctuary and an entertainment destination for family and friends. The result is a cohesive outdoor living environment that seamlessly blends a custom gunite pool, lush professional landscaping, and elegant outdoor living spaces.

The Challenge

The property had a large, flat backyard with poor drainage, no defined outdoor living areas, and landscaping that provided little privacy or visual interest. The clients wanted a complete transformation that felt luxurious but still natural and appropriate for the Hamptons aesthetic.

Our Solution

We designed a comprehensive plan that included a custom freeform pool with tanning ledge and spa, extensive bluestone patio work, privacy screening through strategic plantings, and a covered outdoor living area with built-in seating and fire feature. Drainage was addressed with a French drain system integrated into the landscape design.

The Result

The completed project transformed an underutilized backyard into a stunning resort-style retreat. The homeowners now have a private outdoor sanctuary that functions beautifully for both quiet family evenings and large-scale entertaining — and the property value has increased significantly.
